Homero Escandón

VP of Manufacturing – OpEx & Supply Chain, Biotix 

Homero has over 24 years’ experience in Operations and Supply Chain roles across multiple industries.
He is currently Vice President of Manufacturing (Opex & Supply Chain) for Biotix, Inc. – a world class
manufacturer of laboratory consumables and liquid handling solutions. He is also currently President of
ASCM San Diego Chapter. Prior to Biotix, Homero held positions at Northrop Grumman, LISI Aerospace,
and United Technologies Corporation. Homero also spent 11 years active duty in the United States
Marine Corps, including two deployments to Iraq in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
Homero holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Business
Administration. His certifications include Certified Supply Chain Professional – Fellow (CSCP-F), Certified
in Logistics, Transportation & Distribution – Fellow (CLTD-F), Certified in Production & Inventory
Management (CPIM), Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB), Project Management Professional
(PMP), Certified Professional in Distribution & Warehousing (CPDW), Certified Supplier Quality
Professional (CSQP), and Certified DISC Practitioner.


Homero is a Lead Lean instructor at Biotix. He is also a Master APICS Instructor, teaches extended
learning programs at CSU San Marcos, and teaches supply chain courses at University of Arizona Global
Campus.


In his time away from work, teaching, & volunteering; Homero enjoys cooking, bike riding, hiking,
watching 80’s movies, and reading.

John Glen

Visiting Fellow, Cranfield School of Management

John was Director of the Executive MBA from 2002 – 2004 and the Full-time MBA from 2004 – 2007. He has worked extensively in the area of executive education in the UK and globally. 

John has published over 30 commissioned reports for a variety of corporate clients and more than 50 academic and conference papers, his major academic interest being in the area of housing and health economics. 

John is the Director for the Centre for Customised Executive Development (CCED). He has been a member of faculty at Cranfield since 1999 initially joining the School as a member of the Economics faculty. 

John regularly comments on UK and global macro-economics and the finance of football on BBC radio and television having given more than 75 interviews in the last three years.
