Laura studied Retail and Product management at University. Following her successful graduation she was offered an executive trainee role at Harrods. From here she developed her understanding of the whole business before being selected to join the buying team for the largest spend category in the store. Her role grew and her exposure to the senior management team and owner at the time saw her recognised for sales support of the year.

In 2003 she joined a start-up company as Operations Manager in her lifestyle passion of travelling and wildlife to coordinate and run 3 successful dedicated wildlife cruises from the UK later covered by the BBC Wildlife magazine.

Laura joined Skanska Construction in 2007 where she held positions of increasing levels of responsibility. Laura’s success in this environment was highlighted by being selected for the Female Mentor Programme where she was mentored by the Executive Vice President. Working on high profile contracts with National Grid Laura developed her stakeholder management skills.

In 2013 Laura joined McCarthy and Stone as Procurement Director where she worked under a leading global investment company and accountable for the transformation, development, management and operation of the Procurement strategy. During her time at McCarthy and Stone she delivered a 20% improvement to the companies EBITDA and transformed the Procurement department from a transactional and reactive based culture to a strategic department that was recognised for adding value to the organisation.

Recognising her strengths in driving change in the Procurement function Laura formed F3 Consultants to assist other companies in their journey to realise the value of Procurement. Laura has a particular specialism in implementing category management and developing teams.

Laura has recently been appointed the Chair of the CIPS Senior Construction Leaders Group, she is looking forward to driving a real step change in the industry and raising the profile of Procurement in the Construction Sector.

Jay Koganti

Jay has more than 24 years of experience in leading and transforming complex Supply Chains. His core focus remains in developing global supply chain strategies, solving complex Supply Chain problems by leveraging the cutting-edge Technology Innovations with Process excellence and a value creation mindset.

Jay is a highly motivated Supply Chain transformation and operational Leader with experience in Consumer Goods Supply Chains. Including 12 years in leading Supply Chain planning, Distribution, Integrated Business Planning, Supply Chain Analytics & Intelligence, and execution transformations for fortune 100 companies, eight years in tier-one consulting firms in building Supply Chain strategy, Process and Business transformation consulting, and six years of operational experience in procurement, Inventory management and shop floor supervision.

Jay worked and transitioned back and forth between consulting and Industry to deepen his practitioner’s mindset during his career.

In his current role, Jay leads End to End planning Transformation for Estee Lauder companies to create a next-generation Enterprise planning capabilities and Operating model to support the growth and value creation. Jay spent the last 13 years with Estee Lauder companies in various Supply Chain Transform and operational roles. In his previous consulting role, Jay worked with Deloitte Consulting for four years as Senior Manager in their NYC consulting practice focusing on Consumer Business enterprises.

Jay has a BS in Metallurgical Engineering and APICS certified, and attended multiple Executive Education programs.

On the Personal front, Living and working in Asia, Europe, and North America enabled Jay to appreciate the complexity of Global Supply Chain Ecosystems deeply and thrive in diverse cultural settings, and appreciation for simplicity behind the ever-complex world, the Interdependency of Global Ecosystems, and the oneness of diverse cultures and traditions.

In Jay’s spare time, Besides being an avid reader about changing technologies and ancient wisdom cultures, He dabbles in writing about spiritual reckoning. Advocates technology to improve the state of affairs in the Supply Chains and global ecological systems and strive to cultivate mindful living by practicing the contemplative traditions of yoga and meditation.
